Sustainable Revolution Longmont is quickly becoming the hub for environmental education, advocacy and action in Longmont. We are a fiscally-sponsored project of Bands for Lands/Tindakan with Colorado 501(c)3 Non-Profit Corporation status.
It’s fairly easy to make a difference in local politics. That means your voice and your time can directly impact your community. In addition to becoming active with Sustainable Revolution Longmont, here’s how you can speak up in Longmont.
A Nimble Grassroots Movement
- SRL learns, teaches, advocates, and acts to improve the environment in Longmont, Colorado and beyond.
- SRL works collaboratively and inclusively with all ages and backgrounds, and particularly encourage and support youth.
- SRL creates a space for people to connect, build community, and create solutions.
- SRL works at a grassroots level to bring together experts and community members to promote better collective choices around food, energy, transportation, waste, air and water. Individual ideas and projects and welcomed and supported.
